We collect information you provide when creating an account, such as your name and email address. We also collect usage data including pages visited, features used, and device information to improve the Service.

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process subscriptions and payments via Stripe
• Send important service notifications
• Improve the Service and develop new features

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs how payment data is handled.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with third-party service providers ("subprocessors") that help us operate the platform, and only to the extent each needs to perform its function:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Clerk — account authentication and management.
• Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics.
• Plausible — privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting, database, and image storage and delivery.
• AWS Rekognition — automated moderation of uploaded images to detect prohibited content.

Each subprocessor handles your data under its own privacy policy, and we do not authorize them to use your data for any purpose other than providing services to Mealsio.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and our analytics provider (Plausible) does not use cookies or track you across other sites.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You may also export your recipe data at any time.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service.
